Find Player IDs

When a player joins, their Steam/EOS ID appears in the web console. Copy it before editing serveradmin.xml.

Grant Admin Access

  1. Open serveradmin.xml via FTP.
  2. Add a new entry under <admins> with the player’s SteamID/EOS ID and permission level (0 is super admin).
  3. Save, upload, and restart the server.

Use Admin Tools Responsibly

  • In-game, type cm for Creative Menu or dm for Debug Mode.
  • Teleport, spawn items, and run console commands via the web console—everything is logged.

Best Practices

  • Keep permission levels consistent (0 for owners, 1–2 for moderators).
  • Rotate admin passwords when staff change.
  • Enable logging to catch griefers using admin powers.
