Izy Gun Pack Mod

Izy Gun Pack is the firearms-content mod for 7 Days to Die. Rather than a full overhaul, it's a focused content-pack that adds a hundred-plus custom guns with proper models, sound design, and animation work — usable alongside vanilla or layered onto most overhaul mods. If your community wants a much bigger arsenal without committing to a full survival-overhaul like DF or UL, this is the mod.

Origins and design intent

Built and maintained by Izayoi, Izy Gun Pack reflects a simple thesis: vanilla's weapon roster is functional but sparse; players who love firearms want depth without committing to a full overhaul. The mod focuses tightly on the firearms layer — custom rifles, pistols, shotguns, SMGs, sniper rifles — each with proper models, audio, and animation. It's compatibility-friendly by design; works with most other mods.

Survival realism

Izy Gun Pack is content-pack realism — it's about firearm authenticity rather than survival mechanics. Each gun has model fidelity that respects the real-world reference. Damage curves and progression tiers fit vanilla's existing balance, so adding the mod doesn't break game balance the way an unbalanced weapon-only mod might.

Legal and use conditions

Izy Gun Pack is free to use for community servers. Izayoi distributes the mod via the 7D2D Mod Launcher v5 and community channels. XML and gameplay logic are freely available; custom weapon models, custom textures, and custom audio assets are usually attribution-protected — these are the modder's craft work, not freely redistributable. Always source the mod from the official launcher; don't repackage it.

The current Izy Gun Pack build is compatible with 7 Days to Die V1.0+ / 2.x. Recent changes have focused on:

How to install Izy Gun Pack

For self-hosters: install via the 7D2D Mod Launcher v5. Search for "Izy Gun Pack", install. Compatible with most overhaul mods if you're already running one.

For dedicated servers: install the server bundle. Both server and client must run identical Izy Gun Pack builds (and matching overhaul-mod builds if layered).

If you're hosting with Supercraft, we install Izy Gun Pack at the recommended core version. Tell us in panel which other mods you're running and we'll coordinate compatibility.
