AgeOfOblivion
Age of Oblivion Mod

Age of Oblivion is one of the largest content packs ever built for 7 Days to Die. Originally a community-maintained continuation, the mod ships massive boss content, expanded crafting lines, custom POIs, and a deep tier-4+ progression path that takes the game well beyond what vanilla offers. It's a heavy mod — heavy on RAM, heavy on download size, heavy on systemic depth — built for groups that want a long-form 7DTD campaign that doesn't run out of content at month 3.
Origins and design intent
Age of Oblivion grew out of community-driven content expansion of older overhauls. The design thesis: 7 Days to Die at the endgame should still have meaningful progression and challenges, not just farming the same horde nights. The mod adds boss-tier raids, deep crafting trees, and specialized late-game content that vanilla never delivers. Maintained by the Subquake-orbit community, it ports across major TFP stable cycles.
Gameplay Features
-
Massive content additions — hundreds of new items, weapons, gear pieces, and consumables.
-
Boss-tier encounters — endgame raid bosses with custom mechanics, drops, and loot tables.
-
Expanded crafting lines — dozens of new specialized workstations and recipes.
-
Custom POIs — unique structures with mod-specific loot and combat encounters.
-
Tier-4+ progression — content that activates after vanilla's normal late-game peak.
-
Faction and quest expansions — additional questline content beyond vanilla traders.
Survival realism
Age of Oblivion is not a realism mod the way Undead Legacy or Ravenhearst are. The survival mechanics are vanilla-shaped (no weight system, no schematic-research progression). The depth is in content volume and endgame challenge, not in slowing down the early-game arc. If you want survival realism, look elsewhere; if you want hundreds of hours of post-vanilla content, this is the mod.

Legal and use conditions

XML and gameplay logic are freely available; some custom assets — boss models, custom textures, audio — carry their own attribution / no-redistribution terms.
