Beginner’s Guide to Surviving
So, you’ve just entered the relentless world of ‘7 Days to Die’. Welcome, survivor! Between the zombie hordes, the scarce resources, and the constant need for shelter, things might seem a bit overwhelming. Don’t worry, we’ve all been there, and we’ve got some seasoned survivor tips to share that will give you a fighting chance.
Gear Up, Rookie: This ain’t a stroll in the park, survivor. You need to be equipped to face the harsh realities of the apocalypse. Whether it’s a trusty sledgehammer or a makeshift stone axe, ensure you have the right tools for the job. Also, remember to stock up on necessities like food and water.
Stash, Don’t Hoard: You might be tempted to grab everything in sight, but trust us, lugging around all that junk ain’t gonna do you any good. Stash your loot in secure chests strategically placed around the map. Just remember to keep ’em off the POI property; we wouldn’t want you losing all your hard-earned loot.
Eat Smart, Drink Smarter: Keeping your belly full and your throat quenched is more challenging than you might think. Avoid grub that dehydrates you and save those canned goods for when you can cook up something more filling. Once you’ve set up camp, craft a dew collector or two. It’s slow, but it’ll keep you from dying of thirst.
Hold Your Ground: Zombies are everywhere, lurking around corners and ready to pounce. Stay on your toes and take them on one at a time. Remember, height is your friend, especially when dealing with dogs or wolves.
Death Ain’t The End: You’re gonna die, probably a lot. But that’s okay. Each death is a lesson, a stepping stone to becoming a better survivor. Dust yourself off and get back out there.
Choose Your Perks Wisely: Whether you’re a crack shot with a bow or prefer to get up close and personal with a club, investing in the right perks can make all the difference. But remember, you can’t master everything at once. Focus on what suits your style and situation.
Brace For The Blood Moon: Horde nights are no joke. Make sure your base is fortified and you’ve got plenty of ammo to last the night. Set up defenses, like barbed wire and spike traps, to slow the zombies down. And if all else fails, remember, there’s no shame in retreat.
Use Your Surroundings: In ‘7 Days to Die’, the environment is your greatest ally. Set up camp near resources, use the high ground to your advantage, and never stop exploring. The more you know about your surroundings, the better chance you’ll have of surviving another day.
Remember, survivor, the first week is the hardest. But with these tips, you’ll be well on your way to becoming a seasoned veteran of the apocalypse. Good luck out there!
