ARK Survival Evolved Basic Configuration

Welcome to the Topic “ARK Survival Evolved Basic Configuration”

There is excitement for everyone during their adventurous excursions in the world of ARK: SE, with attractive regions to explore, infinite creatures of all kinds and sizes, and unique secrets waiting to be uncovered. You can increase your players’ enjoyment of the game by completely personalizing the gameplay on an ARK server while you play together.

Whatever kind of plays you like, ARK: Survival Evolved servers offer various options that you can alter at any time, including multipliers, level caps, difficulty, and much more. This article will explain the numerous options on an ARK: SE server so you can understand them and see how to modify them to enhance your experience playing ARK with friends.

Basic Configuration Settings

You can change the basic configuration setting by following these steps.

Resolution

The setting that has the most significant effect on performance is resolution. To avoid lags, washed-out colors, or blurry images, it is advisable to run the game at the resolution of your monitor.

Therefore, if your screen can run at a native resolution of 1080p or 1440p, you should use that. By selecting Display Settings from the context menu when you right-click on your desktop, you may find the native resolution. Under Display Resolution, locate the entry labeled Recommended. That is the native resolution of your monitor!

Leveling Up

You will earn XP via crafting, taming, running, hunting, and other activities on ARK. You will advance in rank as your XP reaches a particular threshold. This helps you in a variety of ways. The first feature is the ability to enhance any of your attributes (explained in detail below). Then, at various levels, it unlocks specific engrams, enabling you to access your engrams and use the points you receive by mastering newly available craftables. Examples at lesser levels include Stone Hatchet, Campfire, and so forth.

Assemble a team! If you already have pals in the game, great. If not, find some! The benefits of teamwork over working alone are considerable. You level up more quickly in a tribe not only because you share a portion of the XP that other tribe members earn but also because you save Engram Points by not spending them on things other tribe members can research and produce for you. For instance, you level up more quickly if more members of your Tribe are online.

Tribes

The benefits of teamwork over working alone are considerable. You level up more quickly in a tribe not only because you share a portion of the XP that other tribe members earn but also because you save Engram Points by not spending them on things other tribe members can research and produce for you. For instance, you level up more quickly if more members of your Tribe are online. Additionally, one person might learn one building, outfit, weapon, etc. The little Tribe in the picture above is one on our server that levels up and cooperates to tame dinosaurs and “Pimp them out.”

Tribe Actions

Build a Tribe

  • To launch Tribe Manager and give your Tribe a name, press “L.” (can be changed later)
  • Begin inviting individuals (see below)

Bring new members into your Tribe.

  • Approach each other while pressing and holding “E” for Options.
  • When you can, click once you’ve hovered over “Invite to Tribe.”
  • The second individual follows suit but says “Accept Invite” instead.

Starting Tools

Stone Pick

An essential tool is available once you have gathered the necessary materials (1 x Wood, 1 x Stone, and 10 x Thatch). It works as a weapon too, but it’s not the ideal option. Achieves more significant gains in Thatch, Raw flesh, and Flint than in Wood, Hide, and Stone. You must pick up loose rocks and punch some trees to get the resources. Your health decreases whenever you hit something. Be cautious!

Stone Hatchet

Essential utility that requires two Engram Points to access. It works as a weapon too, but it’s not the ideal option. It gains more Flint, Thatch, and Stone than does Hide and Stone.

It costs one wood piece, one flint, and ten thatches.

Hunting and Cooking

For your survival, you must hunt. Soon after obtaining fundamental tools, it must be completed. It’s simple to bring meat for little creatures like dodos and coel (fish). Dead bodies are harvested for their raw meat. You ought to prepare it, then consume the cooked meat. This surpasses berries in quality. However, raw meat is still required to feed pets or tame dinosaurs because cooked meat quickly spoils and turns into drugs.

Easiest Hunt

The best birds are dodos and coels (fish). Kill them with nothing more than your bare hands (with caution, it hurts), or even better, a pick or hatchet. Use the same instruments to harvest it after it has died. Dilo’s can also be eliminated. If you have total health and stay away from their spit (the carnivorous Dilo will run at you after spewing venom to try to blind you), you can knock them out. When they are knocked out with a punch, use a better tool to kill and harvest them. Use a Pick to get more raw meat from any animal, dinosaur, or creature, and a Hatchet to get more hide.

Cooking

You massacred some poor defenseless Dodos, some Dilos, or something, like a cruel bastard (just joking). Don’t consume raw meat. Use raw meat to spoil it into rotten meat quickly or to feed carnivorous dinosaurs. You can boil the remaining raw meat and eat it. Although berries have a lesser rate of health regeneration, you CAN still choose to stick with them.

How to Prepare Meat

  • Craft a Fire, and
  • Set Up a Campfire
  • Add Raw Meat
  • Add Wood
  • Light the Fire

A better Experience

You’re prepared to go forward and begin your struggle for survival now that you’ve optimized your Ark graphics settings, launch options, and launch commands. But remember that if your PC doesn’t provide a high-quality gaming experience, even the best performance adjustments won’t guarantee smooth gameplay.
