7 Days To Die: Does the time pause if no one online?

Question

I wanted to ask how the time in server works. Does the time count and days go by when nobody is on the server or does the time only move when at least one person is logged on?

Answer

The time/date in the world is PAUSED when no one is on the server.  So if you are the last person on and its day 15 it will be day 15 when you rejoin. It pauses if no one is online.
