Hello Survivors, and welcome to Navezgane. In the latest update, version 1.3 Stable brings a host of enhancements focused on delivering even more gore, improved gameplay, and important bug fixes to keep the apocalypse running smoothly.
What’s New in v1.3 Stable
Enhanced Gore and Dismemberment
- Gore Overhaul: The update refines the gore system by addressing the final legacy case—the Tourist zombie. This means more consistent and polished dismemberment effects throughout the game.
- Optimized Dismemberment Parts: Numerous adjustments improve the overall visual impact and performance during intense zombie encounters.
- Reduced Gore Mode: For compliance with the PS5 Japanese rating, textures and materials now include reduced gore and dismemberment variants for several zombies and blocks. On PC, Linux, and Mac, this mode can be enabled using the console command
tcc
from the main menu.
Quality and Performance Improvements
- RWG Preview Quality: The preview quality on console devices is now limited to High, ensuring consistent performance.
- Inventory and Bag Updates: Updates for remote players have been optimized, resulting in smoother gameplay in multiplayer sessions.
- Large Combat Performance Enhancements: Significant improvements have been made to combat performance, enhancing overall gameplay fluidity during large-scale engagements.

The update addresses several issues to ensure a more stable gaming experience:
- Resolved a Null Reference Exception (NRE) when starting the game with EOS disabled.
- Fixed localization issues where button labels on the PlayerList/BlockedPlayers were inverted.
- Corrected the mod event
PlayerSpawnedInWorld
